Just imagine — what if you suddenly find a high-tech dog? Which is actually a dangerous weapon made by the military. That’s what this story is about. So, let’s jump into today’s story.
The story starts in a high-tech lab called Kryon. In this lab, a scientist named Andric gives a presentation about his project. He creates a robot dog named AXL. This robot is as loyal as a real dog, and he wants to use it for army. After this, we see a bike race. During the race, a racer named Miles Hills experiences a setback when his bike chain breaks. Because of this, he loses the race. After the race, Miles sees the winner celebrating, and he feels very angry. Miles’ father is very poor, so they go to the winner and ask for an extra chain. The winner, Sam, is ready to give the chain, but Sam’s father rudely refuses. After that, Miles and her father sit sadly. But after some time, a girl named Sara comes and gives them the chain. She actually steals it from Sam. Miles quickly fixes his bike’s chain and gets ready for the next race. The race between Miles and Sam is very close. But somehow, at the last moment, Miles wins the race. After the race, Sam congratulates Miles and also invites him to a party. At first, Miles says no, but later, because of his father, he agrees to go.
Meanwhile, the robotic dog escapes from Kryon Lab. Andric sends a search team to find the dog. But by then, AXL already reaches near the city. At the party, Sam takes Miles to a ground. There, he shows off by setting an old car on fire. His friends make videos of everything. Miles doesn’t like this at all, so he goes back inside the house. There, he sees some amazing bikes. At the same time, Sara also comes there. They sit together and talk for a long time. The next day, Miles tells his father everything about the party. He says if he had the same facilities as Sam, he would also become a national champion. At the same time, Andric meets with Captain Webber. The Captain says she wants to see the final version of AXL soon. Inside, Andric feels very scared because the robot already ran away — so what will he show now? The next day, Sam invites Miles to a dirt bike race. At night, Sam distracts Miles so his friends can mix something in Miles’ bike’s fuel tank. Obviously, a few minutes after the race starts, Miles’ bike breaks down. He falls down. Sam and his friends record a video of this to make fun of him. Then they leave Miles alone and go away. Miles empties the tank and fills it with petrol again. But the bike still doesn’t start. Suddenly, he hears some sound from an empty container nearby. When he goes to check, he sees the robotic dog — AXL. As soon as Miles sees AXL, he gets very scared. He picks up his bike and tries to run away. But AXL easily tracks him using its technology and starts following him. Miles runs with all his strength to escape. But then he sees AXL falling down while chasing him. So, he goes near AXL to check. But by that time, AXL already turns on his self-destruction mode. Miles lovingly pets him and removes the fancy rubber around him. After that, AXL connects himself to Miles’ phone and also turns off his self-destruction mode. Miles takes AXL back to the container and starts fixing him using the instructions written there. The next day, Sam and his friends watch Miles’ funny video. But Sara stops them in the middle and asks about Miles. On the other side, Miles stays busy taking parts from his own bike to fix AXL. He also fills petrol into AXL and finally removes the cover from AXL’s mouth. Inside AXL’s mouth, there are many weapons. But AXL doesn’t attack Miles — instead, they both start playing together. Because they are playing in an open field, government drones easily spot them. In the lab, Berman gets ready to crash AXL’s system, but Andric stops him. Andric actually wants to see how AXL behaves with humans. After some time, Sara comes to meet Miles, but AXL sees her first. AXL is just about to attack her, but Miles quickly stops him. Miles tells AXL that Sara is not an enemy — she is a good friend.
At night, Sara talks about sending AXL back. But Miles shows her the bullet marks on AXL’s body. Miles guesses that his previous owner must have tried to hurt him, so they don’t need to return him. Seeing Miles and Sara together, AXL turns on disco lights and starts playing some romantic songs. In the lab, Berman suggests giving some money to these poor kids and taking the robot back. But Andric refuses and says that AXL is changing after living with humans, which is very useful for their research. The next day, Sara and Miles decide to secretly take AXL somewhere safe. On the way, they stop at a petrol pump. AXL hacks the ATM and petrol machine, so they don’t have to pay. Instead, they get a lot of cash from the ATM. On the other side, Sara’s mom asks Sam about Sara. After that, Sam tracks Sara’s phone location. Sara and Miles hide in an empty house, where they do some painting together. During this time, AXL scans their hand movements and saves them in his memory. AXL then shows them a presentation. After seeing it, Sara and Miles finally understand that AXL is actually made for war — to fight enemy soldiers. AXL fully trusts Miles, so he gives Miles his biometric chip, which permanently connects AXL to Miles. Berman gets very angry after seeing this and tells Andric to stop everything because now AXL completely depends on Miles. Just then, Sam arrives and misbehaves with Sara. But Miles tells AXL to go after Sam. AXL immediately knocks Sam down. AXL is just about to attack Sam, but Miles stops him at the last moment. Seeing how AXL follows every order from Miles, Andric feels very happy. But Berman gets very frustrated after watching everything. After Sam leaves, Sara feels very angry on Miles because Sara’s mom actually works for Sam’s family. Sara suggests asking someone older for advice. So, they both leave AXL there and go to talk to Miles’ father. That night, Sam comes with his friends to take revenge for his insult. AXL could easily destroy them, but he doesn’t attack because Miles tells him not to. To get revenge on AXL, Sam pours petrol all over the ground and sets it on fire. One of Sam’s friends is live-streaming the whole thing on social media. At Miles’ house, his father tells him to return AXL to the military. Right then, Sara sees Sam’s live video on her phone. Sara and Miles quickly leave to reach AXL, but they accidentally leave the biometric sensor at home. In the lab, both scientists are watching everything, but they can’t do anything to stop it. By the time Sara and Miles reach AXL, a lot of damage already happens. Somehow, they wake up AXL and put him into a truck. They take him to a 3D printing workshop, where they design and print all his broken parts and fix them into his body. After this, AXL’s system shows a message saying his hardware is repaired, but it will take two hours and half to fully reset the system. While waiting for this, Sara and Miles sit close to each other. What else can they do? They have nothing else to do, so they just spend time together. As soon as AXL turns back on, Andric finds out their exact location. He sends some government agents to catch them. But just when the agents try to cover AXL’s mouth, AXL’s system fully activates, and he immediately attacks them. All of AXL’s memories come back, and now he only wants revenge on Sam. To find Sam, AXL runs from there immediately. Sara and Miles follow him. AXL tracks Sam’s location. Sam and his friends are sitting around a fire, partying. There are many people there, but as soon as they see AXL, they all run away in fear. AXL doesn’t care about anyone else — he only wants revenge on Sam. Sam tries to fight AXL using a flamethrower, but it runs out of fuel at the worst moment. Sara and Miles arrive just in time and stop AXL from attacking Sam. By then, Andric’s drones also arrive. They catch AXL using electric shocks. After that, the army officers come and arrest AXL, Miles, and Sara. Back at the lab, Andric asks Miles about the biometric sensor. Miles replies that AXL also has feelings and deserves to live freely. Andric is not in the mood to listen. He traps Sara inside a security field, which is designed so that if she tries to escape, AXL will be forced to attack her.
But Sara uses her brain. In the air, she starts drawing the same design she once drew on the wall of the empty house. It’s actually a hand gesture they created together, and AXL recognizes it immediately. Seeing his owner trapped, AXL’s mind lights up — he fully remembers everything. He gets ready to attack Andric and Berman to protect Sara. Seeing this, Andric and Berman panic and immediately run away from there. But on the way, the soldiers arrest Andric because Berman already sends an email to the commander, telling him everything about Andric’s wrong actions. Inside the lab, Sara easily says bye-bye, take care to AXL and leaves. But Miles is not ready to say goodbye to his beloved pet. Instead, he decides to run away with AXL. After this, Commander Webber calls the military to destroy AXL. Outside, Miles and AXL keep running, but at one point, Miles falls off his bike. AXL scans him and finds out that Miles’ arm is broken. AXL tries to help his owner, but Miles orders him to run away. Just then, the drones return and start shutting down AXL again, just like before. But this time, AXL takes himself to a safe place and turns on his self-destruct mode. Before sacrificing himself, AXL looks at Miles one last time. Then — BOOM! — AXL explodes. Miles feels heartbroken after losing his beloved robot dog. Six weeks later, Commander Webber meets Andric again and asks him to join duty because, somehow, AXL’s code is still working. The robot is trying to put itself back together on its own. On the other side, one day, Miles is just sitting around when his hand accidentally touches the biometric sensor. Suddenly, both Miles and Sara’s phones show AXL’s logo. This proves that AXL is still alive! By this, the movie ends here.
