The movie starts with two brothers living in a small house. One of them is named Pedro. Suddenly, they hear gunshots coming from the nearby forest. They decide to check what’s happening but realize it’s too dangerous to go at night, so they wait until morning.
As soon as the sun rises, they take their dog and head into the forest to investigate. After searching for a while, they find a dead body in terrible condition—it has been cut in half. Seeing the body, Pedro’s brother suspects the owner of the land because the body was found on his property. However, the way the body was cut makes it clear that this wasn’t done by a human.
Near the body, they discover a suitcase. When they open it, they find strange objects and a map. The map has a marked location, which Pedro recognizes as the house of a woman who lives nearby. Wanting to find out more about the dead man, they decide to visit her.
When they reach the woman’s house and ask her about the incident, she reveals that the dead man, was a “cleaner.” In normal terms, a cleaner is someone who cleans, but in this movie, it refers to a person who removes evil spirits or demons. She says, she had called that cleaner to her house to kill her own son.

She explains that her son had been possessed by an evil spirit for a long time. His body had become swollen and rotten, making him completely bedridden. Because of this possession, he was no longer able to do anything, and his body constantly oozed pus. The evil spirit had taken full control of him.
She also tells them that if someone other than a cleaner kills a possessed person, the evil spirit will transfer to the killer and their family, possessing them too.
Hearing this, Pedro gets angry and asks the woman why she never informed anyone about this sooner. She replies that she had reported it to the church a year ago, but they didn’t help.
Even though Pedro and his brother are frustrated, they realize they can’t do much themselves. So, they decide to inform the police. However, when they go to the police station, instead of investigating the case, the police start questioning them.
As they talk, A heated argument starts, but Pedro’s brother stops him. The police tell them that they can’t help right now. First, they need to confirm with the health department whether the possessed person is truly under an evil curse or if his condition is due to a disease. They also need to figure out who killed the cleaner before taking any action.
The brothers mention the landowner’s name because the cleaner’s body was found on his land, and the Rotten’s house is also on his property. But the police refuse to help, leaving them disappointed. So, they decide to confront the landowner themselves.
When they meet him, they tell him about the Rotten and the cleaner’s dead body. The landowner’s reaction explains why people suspect him. It turns out that the Rotten and his family were living on his land illegally, which he hated. That’s why everyone thinks he killed the cleaner—to prevent him from reaching the Rotten’s house and fixing the problem. However, the real culprit was someone else, someone who didn’t want the cleaner to get to the Rotten and therefore killed him.
The landowner doesn’t believe in the Rotten’s supernatural condition. He thinks it’s just a trick to take his land away from him. Angry, he decides to go at night and kill the Rotten himself. But the Rotten’s mother stops him, warning that since he is not a trained “cleaner,” killing the Rotten will transfer the evil spirit to him and his entire family, making them suffer the same fate.
The evil spirit inside the Rotten thrives on fear. It manipulates people’s fears and uses them to take control over them. When the landowner goes to kill the Rotten, the spirit inside provokes him, daring him to do it so it can be free. It tells him that if he kills the Rotten, it will possess his pregnant wife and harm his unborn child.
The landowner barely controls himself and rushes out to sit in his car.
The next morning, the landowner’s mother arrives with Pedro and his brother. By now, the landowner has made up his mind—he wants to get rid of the Rotten’s body. He asks for Pedro and his brother’s help, and they agree. Together, they somehow lift the Rotten’s corpse into a truck and drive off to dispose of it.
After going a distance place, they stop to throw the body away. But when they check the back of the truck, they are shocked—the Rotten’s body is missing! They suddenly remember that a child had appeared on the road earlier, When they hit the brakes, the Rotten must have fallen off somewhere along the way. But that didn’t matter to the landowner—all he wanted was to get rid of the body. With that task done, the three of them returned home.
The next morning, the landowner’s wife started screaming when she saw her goats. Hearing her, the landowner rushed outside. She pointed at one particular goat that was acting very strangely, moving in unnatural ways. The landowner also noticed it and immediately realized something was wrong—it looked like the goat was possessed by an evil spirit.
Terrified, the landowner aimed his gun at the goat. The way it behaved made it seem like the demon inside was daring him to shoot, as if saying, “Kill me, and I will destroy your entire family.”
Unfortunately, this time, the landowner lost control of his anger and did exactly what he shouldn’t have—he shot the goat. This was exactly what the evil spirit wanted. Now that it was free from the goat’s body, it could possess someone else.
The demon immediately entered the landowner’s wife. Under its control, she grabbed an axe and attacked her husband, killing him. Then, as if possessed by madness, she struck the axe into her own head, killing herself too. After that, she went after their children and killed them as well.
This horrifying event showed how powerful the evil spirit was—it completely controlled her mind and wiped out the entire family.
Meanwhile, Pedro and his brother were still at the Rotten’s house. That night, the Rotten’s brother approached them, begging them to stay and help. He also told them what had happened to the landowner’s family.
Pedro’s brother became suspicious—what if this boy was also possessed? But Pedro stayed calm and told the boy to go to the storage room and sleep. Before leaving, the boy gave them a warning: “Stay away from electrical things. It will be better for you.”
At that moment, Pedro and his brother sensed that something terrible was coming. Fearing for their safety, they decided to leave early in the morning. Pedro also told his brother that they would leave all their belongings behind to make sure that no trace of the evil spirit followed them.
The next morning, Pedro went to his ex-wife’s house. He gathered his clothes and set them on fire, burning everything. But his ex-wife was furious, yelling at him, “Why are you here ruining my life again?”
As they argued, something horrifying happened—their dog suddenly attacked her daughter and dragged her outside.
The reason? Before Pedro’s clothes burned completely, the dog had licked them. Because of that, the evil spirit possessed the dog.
Pedro’s ex-wife’s husband goes outside to look for their daughter and the dog. Before leaving, he warns Pedro, “No matter what happens, don’t shoot the dog.” But in such a terrifying situation, it’s hard to think clearly.
When Pedro goes outside, he is shocked to see that his ex-wife’s husband has already shot and killed the dog. Deep down, Pedro feels uneasy—this was exactly what should not have happened.
Back inside the house, Pedro is even more shocked when his ex-wife’s daughter suddenly returns home, completely unharmed. Her mother is overjoyed to see her alive and safe. But then, the little girl says something strange:
“Daddy is coming with the car to kill you.”
Pedro panics. He rushes to the garage, grabs his two sons, puts them in the car, and prepares to leave. But at that moment, he sees his ex-wife’s husband arriving in his car—and he runs over his own wife, seemingly killing her on the spot.
Strangely, instead of crying, the little girl starts laughing. The evil spirit had possessed her too. Then, it took control of her father, making him kill his own wife.
Seeing this horror unfold, Pedro wastes no time. He grabs his sons and flees to his mother’s house, where his brother is already waiting. Without wasting any time, he gets his mother and brother into the car, and they all leave town.
While driving, Pedro’s son asks his grandmother to explain what possession is and how to avoid it. She tells them about seven rules to stay safe from possessed bodies and evil spirits:
- Stay away from electrical things (just like Rotten’s brother had warned them earlier).
- Avoid soul animals.
- Never use anything that a possessed person loved the most.
- Don’t hurt or torture them.
- Never call the demon or evil spirit by its name.
- Never kill a possessed person with a gun.
- Never be afraid. You must always be brave—even in the face of death.
Just as she finishes explaining, something terrifying happens—Pedro’s younger son, who had a condition that made him unable to speak, suddenly starts talking and calls out the name of the evil spirit.
Everyone is horrified.
At that moment, Pedro’s phone rings. It was in his mother’s hands. The caller ID shows that his ex-wife is calling him.
Everyone is stunned. They had all seen her die after being run over by the car. It was impossible for her to be alive.
Pedro, despite his fear, picks up the call. His ex-wife’s voice is full of anger. She blames him for everything and then says something chilling:
“I will come and take my children back.”
Pedro is completely shaken. He starts blaming himself for everything that has happened. At the same time, he is exhausted and mentally drained from everything he has witnessed.
Pedro was feeling completely broken, but his brother calmed him down. They had managed to escape from the town, but they had nowhere to go.
Pedro’s brother then told him about a woman named Mirtha, who lived a little further away. He knew her personally and believed she would help them by giving them shelter and even some money. She was a kind woman.
So, they all went to Mirtha’s house. She was not only a good person but had also worked as a cleaner in the past. Even now, she followed the same spiritual practices. She agreed to let them stay in her house.
Pedro’s brother told Mirtha everything that had happened so far. Meanwhile, we see a conversation between Pedro and his brother, which shows how much they truly care for each other.
That night, something terrifying happened. Pedro’s ex-wife suddenly appeared. She grabbed their younger son and jumped off the balcony.
Pedro saw it happen but couldn’t stop her. When they checked below, she and the child had vanished.
Pedro started panicking for his younger son’s safety.
Mirtha, being a former cleaner, had the ability to see evil spirits. When she looked at Pedro’s older son, she immediately realized that he was also possessed.
She explained that the evil spirit was inside him but hadn’t fully taken control yet. Since his son was naturally quiet and didn’t speak much, the demon inside him couldn’t completely dominate his mind yet. For now, the spirit was just trapped inside him.
Mirtha then gathered all her cleaning tools, weapons, and necessary supplies. She told them:
“We must destroy the Rotten.”
Pedro’s brother disagreed. “I think the Rotten is already dead. That’s why the evil possession is spreading so quickly.”
But Mirtha corrected him:
“No, that’s not how it works. The possessions are not random. All of this is happening to give birth to something even more powerful.”
Pedro’s brother then revealed something shocking:
“We left the Rotten’s body somewhere else.”
Hearing this, Mirtha was furious. “That was the worst thing you could have done!”
Pedro defended himself, saying that they had no choice—the landowner forced them to do it.
Now, they had two missions: (1) Pedro’s brother would search for Pedro’s ex-wife and son and (2) Pedro and Mirtha would go find the Rotten.
Their journey was not going to be easy. The evil possession had spread throughout the entire town.
Mirtha warned them:
“The evil spirit will use our deepest fears against us. It will force us to confront whatever we are most afraid of.”
That’s why Pedro’s ex-wife had taken his son—because Pedro feared losing him the most.
On the way, Mirtha shared her own dark past with Pedro.
She revealed that her husband was a greedy man who ran scams using the church. He would hire actresses to pretend to be possessed by the Rotten or evil spirits, making people believe in fake exorcisms.
But one day, something unexpected happened—a real possession came.
She said that after her husband realized that evil spirits and possessions were real, he changed his ways and started real exorcisms. But deep down, he was terrified.
One day, he went out to perform a cleansing ritual—but he never came back.
She also revealed that the only way to truly escape from possessed people and evil spirits is to run so far away that you don’t even know where you’ve ended up. That’s exactly what she had done—leaving everything behind to live alone.
Meanwhile, Pedro’s older son was now fully possessed. He approached Pedro’s mother and asked for food. This was extremely strange since he never spoke before.
At the same time, Pedro’s brother saw Pedro’s ex-wife walking down the street. She was completely possessed and was doing something horrifying—she was eating their younger son’s head.
Horrified, Pedro’s brother ran his car straight into her, crushing her. But in doing so, his car crashed, leaving him badly injured.
Pedro and Mirtha continued searching for the Rotten. Their search led them to an abandoned school.
Inside, they saw many children sitting in complete silence, staring blankly. Something was wrong.
Mirtha immediately signaled Pedro to stay quiet. She realized that all these children were possessed.
At the same time, we see strange, shadowy figures moving around the school.
Suddenly, a little girl approached them and said:
“My dad took the Rotten home.”
But this was a lie. The possessed children were trying to mislead Pedro and Mirtha.
Pedro and Mirtha searched the school and discovered a horrifying sight—a huge pile of dead bodies hidden under the floor.
It turned out that these children had killed all these people and buried them here.
And underneath those bodies, the Rotten was hiding.
Mirtha quickly set up her cleansing tools and told Pedro:
“You need to pull the Rotten out of there.”
But just as Pedro was about to grab the Rotten, the evil spirit started controlling his mind.
To make things worse, the children locked Pedro inside the room.
When he looked through the window, he noticed that
The possessed children had killed Mirtha and were now dragging her body away.
Filled with rage, Pedro broke the door open and ran out. Without thinking, he killed the Rotten.
For a moment, he thought it was all over.
But that was the biggest mistake.
This was exactly what the Evil Spirit and the Rotten wanted.
By destroying the Rotten’s body, Pedro unknowingly helped the evil spirit become free.
As the pure form of evil finally took shape, it gently placed its hand on Pedro’s head—as if thanking him for helping it be born.
Now, fully formed, the evil spirit left to spread destruction in the real world, possessing even more people.
Pedro returned home,
He and his brother hugged each other, crying in sorrow.
After everything they had been through, after all their efforts—they had failed.
Now, they had fully accepted their defeat.
Even if they tried to escape,
There was no way to escape.
The possession was spreading rapidly—from the town to the city, like an unstoppable infection. Even if they ran, they could never be free.
Then suddenly, Pedro and his brother remembered something.
They had hidden Rotten’s younger brother in the storage room.
Pedro went to talk to him.
The boy revealed a shocking truth:
“A voice told me to kill and eat the cleaner.”
That meant he was the one who had murdered the cleaner—the dead man they had found earlier.
Then he added something even more terrifying:
“I did the same thing to my mother. I killed and ate her too.”
Later, Pedro gave an ice cream to his son and then went to take a bath.
As he looked in the mirror, he noticed something strange—the mark that the evil spirit had given him wasn’t fading.
It was permanent.
Then, Pedro’s son suddenly started coughing.
Water and blood began to pour from his mouth.
Pedro quickly tried to clean him up, but then he saw something that made his heart stop.
His son was vomiting out hair and a locket—his grandmother’s hair and locket.
That meant his son had killed and eaten his own grandmother.
Pedro was completely shocked and heartbroken.
Now, let’s understand what the evil spirit was really doing. It possessed one body and lived inside it. It kept killing people in the town or city to absorb their power. When someone finally killed its current body, the spirit escaped and took over a new body. This cycle kept repeating, making it stronger and stronger.
To gain so much power that it could fully be born into the world—the most powerful and unstoppable evil ever.
And that’s exactly what happened.
By making Pedro kill the Rotten, the evil spirit was finally born into its true form.
Now, it is free to destroy the world.
And with that terrifying realization, the story ends.
